The Environmental Science program at 51今日大瓜 teaches you how the natural world works and how people can help protect it. You will take classes in biology, chemistry, geology, and physics. You will also take part in hands-on labs where you learn how to collect data, test ideas, and understand real environmental problems. This program can prepare you for entry-level jobs in the field or help you transfer to a four year university.
What is Environmental Science?
Environmental science is the study of our planet and how living things, natural resources, and people interact. It looks at problems like climate change, pollution, loss of wildlife, and the use of natural resources. Environmental scientists collect information, study data, and create plans that help protect the earth. This work supports clean air, clean water, and a healthy environment for all people.

Environmental Science Degree

This degree teaches you about major environmental issues and possible solutions. You will study how human actions affect the planet and how environmental changes can impact people and communities. The degree is designed for students who plan to transfer to a CSU to earn a bachelor鈥檚 degree in environmental science or a similar field.

With an associate degree in environmental science, you can pursue jobs such as:
- Environmental technician
- Conservation technician
